Terribly made, feels like a DS game, horrible graphics
It may not be World, but Generations feels like a fitting substitute for the Switch in absence of the franchise's most recent smash hit. It compiles some of the Monster Hunter's most iconic beasts and provides an extensive look into the series' history ahead of its most recent evolution.
Shipping was fast and the driver even left a dog treat in the garage with the package. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is this game isn't my style. Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is only the second Monster Hunter game I have played. The biggest problem with this is that the first was Monster Hunter World. Why is this a problem Well, that one is ten times the game that this new one is.
I've been playing Monster Hunter games for a long time - my first was Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on the PSP all the way back in 2009, and my most recent, prior to Generations Ultimate, was Monster Hunter World earlier this year.
Generations Ultimate is a fantastic time for those who didn't play the original 3DS version.
