Love it, have had my Acton II for a month now and it is just great. Connects without problems across multiple phones, sounds amazing and has nice dials for bass, treble and volume. Not to mention that it looks fantastic. Really happy.

Got this for a few days and in love with it. Be it your playlist or watching movies, the audio quality is exceptional. Not regretting a dime spent on it..
Good sound, good looks. I didn't realize it isn't a portable unit ( it has to be plugged in at all times), but I will keep it anyway.
Good sound
No battery; has to be plugged in
The product description didn't really detail that this speaker is actually geared for the electric guitar player. After downloading the Marshall Bluetooth app and pairing it w/my phone, I was able to sync the 2 and play my music through the speaker.
Awesome speaker
Many will buy the Marshall Acton II Voice for its charming looks, but sonically it's no better than average The Acton II Voice isn't the worst speaker we've heard at this price, but £249 ($299) is no small sum, even for Alexa compatibility, and it puts it right in the firing line of Audio Pro.
Big sound with decent bass; Alexa built in; Classic Marshall design
Poor mid-range performance; Hardens at high volume; Struggles with basic rhythms
Build quality is solid & superb. Sound quality is excellent, FLAC files are exquisite. A little distortion detected with bass up full, but easily adjustable by voice, hand or app. Alexa wifi connection wasnt the easiest, but once done, it works well. Dual mics ensure voices are heard easily.
When Marshall makes a speaker, it doesn't just produce a sound-sharing machine – it creates a design icon. As such, the Marshall Acton II looks awesome in the company's classic band amplifier style, which has been shrunk down for this desktop-friendly Bluetooth speaker.
Great design; Excellent bass for size; Physical knob controls
Slight bass distortion; No aptX; Not battery powered for mobility
We love the look of the Marshall Acton II Bluetooth-except for that back panel. We love the sound of the speaker-except for that nasty distortion issue on deep bass tracks. If, say, you plan on parking the speaker near a wall and you don't listen to music with deep bass in it, then that would seem...
Powerful, balanced overall sound signature; Handsome design; Built-in bass and treble knobs
Distorts on tracks with deep bass at top volumes; Unattractive back panel; No included accessories
At $249, the Acton II is the smallest and least expensive of the three newly announced Marshall Bluetooth speakers. (Reviews of the Stanmore II Bluetooth and the Woburn II Bluetooth are forthcoming.) By many standards, however, the Acton II Bluetooth is fairly large. If you like the look of Marshall amps, you'll like the design and details here. The Acton II Bluetooth is powerful and has adjustable bass and treble knobs. There's no speakerphone, however, and this is not a portable speaker like many sub-$300 wireless models are. It delivers mostly solid audio performance, though at top volumes we experienced some distortion issues on deep bass tracks. Design Measuring 6.3 by 10.3 by 5.9 inches (HWD) and weighing in at 4.5 pounds, the Acton II Bluetooth is available in black or white models, with a fairly real-looking grain leather patina covering much of the top and side panels. The front face is a tweed-covered grille with the Marshall logo displayed in handsome cursive. If you li...
The Marshall Acton II Bluetooth speaker delivers a rich, balanced sound signature, but it can distort on tracks with deep bass.
