Bought this for a trip as needed to travel light. Handled my 5d with 24-70 f2.8 with no trouble at all. Nice height too for something that folds down so small.
Compact; Easily Adjusted; Lightweight

Very compact, fairly light weight, big seller, great travel companion
Pros: this is very small...see image and pretty light at 3lb 3.4 oz with ballhead on. The BeFree initial quality seems good, not as solid as my magfiber but pretty good. Super fast and easy to set up once you get a hang of those twist knobs at the top of the legs.
The Manfrotto BeFree (MKBFRA4-BH) is a new compact and stylish tripod designed to be quick and easy to use. Find out how it performs in our review.
Excellent build quality; 10 year warranty after registration; Compact size; Light weight; Same quick release plate as other Manfrotto tripods; Quick to deploy
Would be nice to have tightening tool included; Difficult to fit tripod back in case with QR plate attached; Could feel a little short for taller people
Nice and portable camera tripod that works as expected. The advantage, as I see it, is that the stand can be folded very good with no protruding parts. There is also a rubberized "handles" on one rod that allows one to carry it in your hand comfortably when you have folded it together.
Very happy with this tripod. It's light, stable enough and very compact. This means I can take it with me all the time, leading to better pictures.
This is my first tripod and I bought this a couple of months ago and took it on several hikes where the tripod was standing on tough terrain, they have been working very well. I really like the flip and lock system which saves a lot of time setting it up.
Pros: 1. Nice compact tripod for easier use. 2. Good built quality. Its manfrotto of course. 3. Very Stable, you can use it in various different settings. 4. Most suitable for outdoor adventure type of photography. Cons. 1. Not good for videos as it does not come with a rotating head. 2.
"I use a Fuji film Extended Zoom P&S camera, and I've been wanting to get a nice travel-friendly tripod for a while now. Upon receiving this awesome tripod in the mail, I tested it out right away. All of the turning and lock mechanisms are very smooth and easy to use.
Very happy. More than I could have expected. Folds up great and is so light.
