Very repetitive game, AI is average. Max has to be one of the most boring characters you could find in a game. What a letdown!

Terrible controls. Boring story. Only good thing it has going for it is the nice graphics
The games ok, it's no blow your mind game but with that said it's ok for a lazy Sunday jam!
Not to bad of a game if your into that brutal action and adventure type of game !
Fun game along with some funny bits from your hunchback sidekick along the way. Driving, fighting, blowing things up, it's all there for a fun time, plenty to do, lots of different cars to drive and steal. The only thing that ruins it is the glitches, unfortunately there are a couple and so far they haven't put me off getting about 70% of the way through and still going, the typical Microsoft fix of, turn it off and back on again seems to fix most of them. Still a great game to get all things considered.
Game is pretty good. I do recommend it now as the price is only $30–40 dollars. Nothing beats the GTA franchise but any open world game is good to play isn't it.
Despite the lack lustre reviews, this game is well worth your time I believe. If you're a fan of Mad Max, it's a solid Max inspired story with a lot of Easter Eggs for the fans, and fits nicely into the Max world, like a worn leather shoulder pad. If you're a fan of Batman inspired combat, with extra brutality you'll enjoy Max's style of no-holds barred fighting. If you're a fan of vehicular mayhem, there's plenty to find out in the wasteland. Graphically it's quite nice looking too, with good environmental effects and some cleverly understated level design. Really my only criticism is the ride is over too soon! Max becomes fairly powerful fairly quickly, and the challenge of dealing with Wasteland raiders becomes sadly trivial in the end game. Once you've cleared out areas there's no re-population either, so the wasteland does eventually become a real wasteland. Still worth the ride though, particularly now it's regularly on sale.
As a Mad Max fan, I enjoyed being submerged into Max's post apocalyptic world. There's plenty to do in the game, and although the conquering of strongholds can get a bit repetitive, being an open world sandbox game means you can play the different missions in any order you like. The environment looks great, the character graphics on the whole are good, although in general, Max's movement does seem a bit stiff. I think the game's strongest aspect is the sound, from shotgun blasts to roaring V8s, they sound great, although a letdown would have to be some of the dodgy Australian accents!. Overall, a must for Mad Max fans, and anyone who enjoys open world games.
Was excited about this game especially knowing it was not going to be a movie spin off game. On release I had lowered my expectations due to poor reviews, yet now after a few weeks of gaming this is all I'm playing (more than MSG:phantom pain and the new AC game that's begging me to play it!) all I can say is give this game a go, from the awesome vehicles to the bone crunching combat this is the mad max game I never knew I wanted!!
