By this point in time, JRPGs have come quite a long way since their humble beginnings, and it seems like every new release is trying to find a way to reinvent the wheel once more with a flashy new battle system or premise.

Very good game just like the old final fantasy games well worth a play if your into rpgs.
Buy Lost Sphear Looking for a decent collection of JRPGs to go? To date, the best choice is still the fading PS Vita. The Nintendo Switch isn't there yet, but the niches take time to develop, and the Switch already has a heavy hitter with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 .
Lost Sphear is an RPG that's hard to recommend to everyone, offering a mixed and unbalanced experience. The combat is fast-paced, rewarding and challenging yet sometimes garish. The Spiritnite system is fantastic and yet the Vulcosuits feel undercooked.
I t is okay. Lost Sphear is perhaps the most okay-ish sort of game I've played in a long time. It's average-ness pours out like a wave of slightly lukewarm nostalgia to envelope the player, not entirely unlike sitting in a bathtub where the bubbles have already burst 15 minutes ago.
Lost Sphear is a more ambitious JRPG than its predecessor, yet it risks abandoning its purpose to return to the genre's simpler days.
