Such good quality.

Hey I highly recommend this speaker system. It sure has a hell of a kick to it. Would easily compete with well known brands like Bose (my friend has one, and I would say my logitech is the same or even better than his $4000 setup). No jokes try this one out!

Going by the numbers, the Z906 has all the makings of a solid 5.1 setup for the living room or PC / game room. It's capable of pumping out 500 watts (RMS), with 165 watts going to the 8-inch, side-firing subwoofer.

Solid speakers that do what they are meant to

I looked for a while to replace my 5.1 Headset. I have my computer in a 10x10 or so room. Although I have a very nice 7.1 Home Theater Setup in my [large] living room, I wasn't looking for anything special for my computer; just something to provide 5.1 sound at decent volume and reasonable sound...

small system with big sound and good wattage

Slightly flat sounding

This system rocks hard. This is much better than that previous z5500 The system is more present and sounds muck clearer that the z5500.

Conclusion The $400 Logitech Z906 5.1 speakers provide a pleasing surround system for watching movies. Dialogue is clear with good separation in each channel. The bass is deep and the system has the ability to provide satisfying levels of sounds.

Logitech Z906 5.1 Speaker System Review

Logitech's Z-5500 5.1-channel speaker system was legendary for its beefy amp and beastly subwoofer, its plethora of optical and digital input options, and its ability to decode popular surround-sound codecs.

Surround sound; a beefy subwoofer; and plenty of inputs

Satellites have one-way drivers; no HDMI pass-through; can't decode Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master Audio

Logitech Z906

Although this 5.1-channel home cinema package is primarily intended for use with a PC, it's equally at home in an AV environment thanks to its generous range of connections and features – particularly its THX certification, which means it satisfies George Lucas' exacting standards for movie...

Powerful sound; Excellent build quality; Clever; convenient control console

No HD audio decoding or HDMI inputs; Design might not suit living room; Dedicated home cinema speakers dish out more detail

Logitech Z906 speakers

The Good High quality sound for the price. Subtler, more home theater-ready design. Multiple stereo modes; good 4.1 mode. Five inputs with simple setup. 5.1 Dolby and DTS decoding in the console. The Bad Not a real revolution. Cable bundle still assumes PC users. Bright control console lights.
