Awesome keyboard very happy
This is my first mechanical keyboard since the 90's. Oh the nostalgia that clicky sound and feel brings back… Each key feels distinct and the travel feels just right. They do feel a bit plasticky and smooth, especially the media keys, but its a very minor nitpick. The keyboard is heavier than I thought it would be, and it feels solid. Its not going to fall off your lap when sitting down. The bluetooth support is a really nice extra, and the dongle support just works. Thankfully there is none of this RGB rainbow puke rubbish either. The keys are not backlit, but considering that this keyboard has an 18 month battery life from 2 included AA batteries, thats perfectly acceptable for a wireless keyboard. The cellphone/tablet holder and the USB extension cable for the dongle is a really nice bonus. The Bluetooth allows this to work with iOS and iPadOS devices, and Android as well.
Logitech G613 Wireless Gaming Keyboard is for serious gamers that demand high performance. It has Romer-G switches, keys that you program and is very high quality! We love this keyboard!!
Logitech's G613 wireless mechanical gaming keyboard may not offer fancy flashing RGBs, but it does mighty well in our tests.
I very much like the keyboard, but it's let down by inferior software. Logitech's Romer G switches may not be for you, but I think they are a fine mechanical switches for my needs.
The Logitech G613 has its flaws. It uses pad printed keycaps (which will wear over time), its Romer-G switches are somewhat soft, it lacks a backlight and you can't connect it via USB cable.
Great battery life; Fast Wi-Fi and regular Bluetooth connectivity; Dedicated macro and media keys
Romer-G switches; Pad-printed keycaps; No backlight
If you’re in the market for a wireless gaming keyboard, buy the Logitech G613 – it’s in a league of its own
Great battery life; Fast Wi-Fi and regular Bluetooth connectivity; Dedicated macro and media keys;
Romer-G switches; Pad-printed keycaps; No backlight;
I've been using Logitech G-Series gaming keyboards for close to fourteen years. My old G19 has been serving me well since Christmas of 2012 and it's still in perfect condition, but I jumped at the opportunity to review the new G613 Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard.
Great battery life; Precise and responsive keys; G-Keys are easy to program and access
High price tag; LIGHTSPEED swap and Bluetooth feature feels gimmicky; No backlighting
Logitech G613 Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard does not come with backlighting, detachable wrist rest, USB pass-through, and other goodies that normally come with a "gaming" keyboard. However!
If you've ever had a wireless keyboard, especially mechanical ones, you'll know that they often times are so painful to set up (no thanks to Windows 10) that you'll get sick of the process and just stick to a cabled connection after some time.
