It's tough to stand out in the world of gaming peripherals these days, and headsets are no different from keyboards or mice in that way. There are a million headsets, each with a slightly different set of features from the others on the market.

Can gaming headphones really be used on the bus, or the train, or even walking to work? That's what the Logitech G433 is trying to answer, the peripheral company's latest every-wear gaming-slanted ‘phones for the modern human being.
Logitech has been releasing gaming headphones with a steady regularity of late, and this summer we have another new model to examine in the G433 Gaming Headset, which has just been released (along with the G233).
The Logitech G433 is a wired gaming headset offering virtual 7.1 surround sound, two detachable microphones and a unique fabric covering. Regardless of whether you're a PC or console gamer, the headset has been designed to work without fuss, with easy setup and plenty of connectivity options.
Stylish fabric design; Well-rounded audio; Highly versatile; Comfortable to wear
Doesn't feel particularly expensive; Not so brilliant for music; Expensive
I love these headphones because they look so "natural" you can wear them in public listening to music without looking like a gamer with a microphone sticking out of it. The meshed ear cups makes a scratchy sound on your face (expecially if you have facial hair) but just a minor detail.
In the end, this headset is mostly just "okay." The best feature is the way it looks, but that's immediately undermined by the way it feels. On the one hand, the variety of color options and small batch of accessories makes for a decent $100 option.
Excellent visual design; Lightweight; Simple setup; Solid virtual 7.1 surround sound
Poor noise isolation; Weak bass response; Uncomfortable earpad fabric
The Logitech G433 is a flexible wired gaming headset that comes with a slew of accessories, though its audio performance is just average.
Lots of accessories, including two sets of earpads, two audio cables, and a 7.1-channel USB sound card; Simulated surround sound on PC; Fairly balanced sound
Average bass response and treble; Can feel uncomfortable after long listening sessions
I don't know why oversize, aggressively stylized gaming headsets were in vogue a few years ago, but I'm glad the industry is finally producing peripherals that you could wear on the bus without getting a second glance.
Attractive design; Great mic; PC; console and mobile compatibility
Not that comfortable; Middling sound quality; Tons of cables
I have purchased several Logitech products and have been very happy with the performance and quality. These head phones are no exception.
Logitech have done some head-scratching over how to deliver a gaming headset that will give people everything they need for their day-to-day audio needs regardless of their platform or media, and so have set out to do just that.
