Leica Sofort review
The only big question mark hanging over the Sofort is its similarities to the Instax Mini 90. The Sofort may boast a Leica lens and some slick style, but at £275/$299 it’s just about double the price of the Instax for an almost identical feature set.

Leica Sofort review: The coolest and priciest way to take instant snaps
If you can stomach the cost, the Leica Sofort is a beautiful way to explore the fun of instant photography. There are so many bad things I can say about the Leica Sofort instant camera.
Pros:
- The Leica Sofort looks great and it's perfect for taking instant snaps at house parties.
Cons:
- You can get the same features from instant cameras that cost a quarter of the price.

- It’s a Leica. For £230. Really
- Blisteringly hip looks
- Instant pics have an undeniable appeal
Cons:
- Image quality is just as retro (ie basic) as the instamatic concept
- Film is expensive… and so’s the camera

Leica Sofort review
The Sofort is simple, takes alright instant photos, and owning one won’t force you to take out a second mortgage. Let’s be honest, this is the closest I’m ever going to get to actually owning a camera with that fabled Red Dot on it. Tech journalists aren’t really part of Leica’s regular customer base. Is that enough to see past the Sofort’s limits, though? For me, yeah, it probably is - I’m just that much of a logo snob. For everyone else, though, this is a camera you’ll have fun using, but the Fujifilm Instax it is based on will be the better, cheaper buy. Buy the Leica Sofort here from Jessops
