When most people think of anime, what they're really thinking of is Weekly Shōnen Jump. With prolific mighty warriors in the form of ninjas, pirates and even card game players, the characters from this publication have become anime for most people.

Easy to pick up; Some supers look amazing

Jump Force review – super manga bros.

The heroes of Dragon Ball, Naruto, and One Piece unite in a new fighting game crossover but is it the anime equivalent of Smash Bros.

The combat system may be shallow and repetitive but there's a few interesting ideas and enjoyably over-the-top moves; Lots of characters and plenty of fan service

The story campaign is boring, overlong, and poorly presented; Tag system is unnecessarily restrictive and the graphics are underwhelming

Worth the price tag on collectors as a collector.

The statue is amazing. It's so light weight but incredibly durable. The figures each mount so week you can literally flip this upside down so no stability issues. All three look great, which if you know anything about Naruto statues... this is a steal to include a decent one in here haha.

Jump Force review

Jump Force is a weird beast. For someone who isn't that well versed in its extensive lineup of silly-haired scrappers and explosive combos, it's a bit overwhelming. The bloke with the freaky staring eyes is from One Piece Pirate, and of course there's Son Goku, who, my Dragon-Ball-loving mate...

Fighting with a moderate force - Jump Force review

Jump Force is an interesting showcase for anime crossover fights. The story is very shallow and repetitive, but the combat is still enjoyable. Characters suffer from odd design choices, but the Japanese voice acting is great. - Codi Spence

Combat is enjoyable; Varied character choices; Japanese voice acting is cool; Online functions well

Story is extremely shallow; Combat gets repetitive; Characters look and feel one-dimensional; One shared health bar between teams ruins some of the mechanics

Jump Force Review – PS4

Jump Force tries once again to bring characters from the most popular Shonan Jump franchises together, but once again fails to find balance with its characters and its mechanics. There is fun to be had, but when you dig deep into Jump Force it starts to show just how unpolished it truly is.

Jump Force review review

Suitably bonkers story mode; Expansive character roster; Simple controls and easy-to-access mechanics;

Shonky cutscenes; Not as in-depth as other fighters; Feels poorly optimised;

Jump Force Review – Not Exactly Jumping for Joy

Shonen Jump has been delivering iconic characters and stories that have shaped the landscape of manga, anime, and Japanese culture in general for the past 50 years, and Jump Force intends to celebrate that legacy by bringing a ton of classic characters together to duke it out for the fate of their...

Review: Jump Force

Ultimately, if you like anime then this is for you. If you like mashing buttons and watching as Shonen characters enact fights you see in manga pages, you're going to enjoy However, soon after the spectacle is gone, you're left with a shallow but a pretty video game that's story never really goes...

Jump Force Review | More like Shonen Slump

The hub is also where the most motion blur can be encountered, as simply moving the camera with the right analog stick causes such an annoying visual effect that I began to feel physically sick. Not helping matters is the other players constantly zipping in and out of view.

Ryo Saeba is defiantly horny on main; Mid-battle transformations are rad; Cast has interesting additions

Terrible story; Motion blur can make you sick; Tags
