Joby Gorillapod SLR

The Joby Gorillapod SLR is the newest addition to the Gorillapod lineup. Basically, it is a flexible tripod for versatility and portability.

Joby Gorillapod

Over the last few weeks, I've been using the Gorillapod Original to take macro pictures used on my food blog. Since my compact digital camera doesn't have image stabilization, the Gorillapod has been fantastic at steadying the picture. It's also great for taking group shots during a hike.

Attach pod where

This is a great item to have in your gadget bag; it is lightweight and small. The Gorillapod tripod works well supporting my Canon 50D w/17-55mm f2.8 zoom. Very stable. Quality built.

Good Stability; Lightweight

Joby Gorillapod

Manufacturer: Joby Model: Gorillapod Price: £20 www.intro2020.co.uk For compact digital cameras, the humble mini-tripod is a must, but they're limited to where you can use them. The Gorillapod breaks from the norm.

Versatility

Too flimsy for using with heavier cameras and DSLRs

Tiny, featherweight, infinitely adaptable, this little gorillapod will allow you to use any imaginable object or surface as a mount for your point-and-shoot. I have used it on car roofs, fence rails, tree limbs, handlebars and rafters.

-- inexpensive; -- light; -- adaptable; -- has a tiny; quick-release mounting plate that can be locked to tripod; -- can be used as a toy in situations of emergency boredom

-- wouldn't put anything other than a little point-and-shoot camera on it

Oooh, Eeeee, Oooh, Ahhh-A (Low-Down Gorilla Sounds)

Here at Gear Patrol, we really like taking pictures. That's why you see so much original photography here on the site (Yes, it's ironic to see a stock photo with this post, but how we gonna take a picture of our camera without our camera?).

Gets were no other tripod would

I use this product mostly to mount my wireless flash just were I want it, what can i say, it will stand, lean, hang, do pretty much anything you want of it.
With the flexability of the legs it seems limited in its support.

Compact; Easily Adjusted; Good Footing; Lightweight; Locks In Tight

"Cute and Small perfect for All"

No more arm length self portraits.... I can actually hook my camera to almost anything back up and have a great spontaneous shot anywhere...

Good Stability; Lightweight; Unfolds Quickly

Gorillapod Video Tripod Review

These days, everyone is an amateur Francis Ford Coppola-or maybe that's an amateur Kevin Smith. Anyway, if you go to any sporting event, birthday party, soccer game, or random Tuesday happy hour, someone's bound to break out a portable video camera to capture the moment.

Light and portable; Smooth panning and tilting

Not enough bulk to stay put
