, but it gets the job done. Mainly use this for a GoPro and couldn't be more happy with the results. Wish the little pieces would stay together a bit more firm but this thing is so handy that it doesn't even matter

This is a great item to have in your gadget bag; it is lightweight and small. The Gorillapod tripod works well supporting my Canon 50D w/17-55mm f2.8 zoom. Very stable. Quality built.
Good Stability; Lightweight
I bought my husband the Gorillapod for Christmas. We go hiking a lot and like to take pictures when we're out. It will certainly come in handy for that when summer comes. But when we tried to use it to take some family Christmas photos in our home, it didn't work so well.
Tiny, featherweight, infinitely adaptable, this little gorillapod will allow you to use any imaginable object or surface as a mount for your point-and-shoot. I have used it on car roofs, fence rails, tree limbs, handlebars and rafters.
-- inexpensive; -- light; -- adaptable; -- has a tiny; quick-release mounting plate that can be locked to tripod; -- can be used as a toy in situations of emergency boredom
-- wouldn't put anything other than a little point-and-shoot camera on it
I bought a Gorillapod without the ball head and decided to get one. Very easy to use with the quick release plate. The plate stays secure on my Canon 80D. The whole set up is very sturdy and works great. I bought the SLR Gorillapod and it hold my 80D no problem. Gorillapods rock.
Sturdy, good for my j4000 cam and point and shoot camera.
The Gorillapod was a gift, but it looked like it was most useful and handy.
Folds Small; Lightweight; Unfolds Quickly
As this is pretty much the only tri-pod which doesn't give a level shot, 2 stars
Cheap; good rubber; grips to anything
Brittle plastic; Difficult to straighten legs; can't get a level shot
I got this off of amazon for a ridiculously low price; £1 or something like that with free shipping - I don't know how they manage to make a profit! The tripod itself is made of plastic with rubber bands across each of the ball joints to aid grip when the tripod is tied around posts, shelves or the...

I bought this Gorillapod ball head to fit on my Induro 75cm high hat tripod. I wanted a lightweight head that would not cause problems on foreign trips.
I had considered other options but for the price this offered all the flexibility I needed.
Easy To Use; Improves Tripod Function
