J-Stars Victory VS+ is a great fighting game with the right amount of challenge and plenty of fan service for anime fans. Hearing my favorite heroes from different series converse casually is pretty neat if you ask me.

I feel that the concept was great and the variety of characters was awesome. I just couldn't get use to the god awful play style. Characters were sluggish and not fluent at all
Manga and anime fans will no doubt get some pleasure out of the game's endless array of cameos, but viewed on its merits as a fighting game this is a clear defeat.
A lot of fan service, with a large roster of very diverse characters; The combat is nothing if not accessible, and there's plenty of content
Extremely shallow action, with hardly any variation between characters – no matter how different they seem to be; Dull story mode, awkward camera, and low tech graphics
Precious little of the Shonen Jump magic shines through the one-note fighting and poorly written story. It's a shame, too, seeing as how diverse the character representation is (as opposed to focusing on the popular stuff).
Tons of characters
Poor visuals; Samey characters; Lazy story; Shallow combat
An exercise in apathy, neither solid nor liquid. Not exactly bad, but not very good either. Just a bit "meh," really.

This is a very good game. I have to say it's one of my favourite fighting games ever purely because of the vast amount of different characters you can get from so many different animes. Great combos and excellent graphics. However it does have it's fair share of faults.
A superficially enjoyable, but must play-game for fans of multiple Shonen Jump titles. Having said that, the game is a limited brawler, made most fun by interaction between characters from multiple Jump franchises, and as a game in its own right, is largely repetitive and would struggle to carry...
If you like animes, it is nostalgic. As a fight game, it is just regular. Easy to play, not so many options of attacks / special moves.
It's surprising to see J-Stars reach the West. Although the culture of anime and manga has undergone numerous booms over the last ten years or so, there are still many characters that will be unknown to the majority of the audience.
