Honestly the only thing I can complain is the fact that I would have liked a little bit more base but other than that, they are great for gaming and music lovers like myself
I purchased this headset for communications purposes rather than gaming. This was done after a study of specifications and ability to perform well over the voice range. I am more than satisfied with my purchase. Purchase on-line was very easy and delivery of product was very fast. Top marks PBTECH.
Kingston's first run at gaming audio is a genuinely a great start. A few improvements here in there will turn the HyperX Cloud from pretty good to really good.
I usually buy cheap headsets, but decided to try a more expensive one. This headset is very high quality. The frame being aluminum makes it very sturdy. Sound quality is amazing, has good bass. Also the mic is detachable (love it) and everyone says I have clear audio coming from my mic.
They are re-branded Takstar Pro's with a mic attachment. Very good pair of headphones for the price, readily available and frequently on sale even here in Canada.

Mids feel weak at low volume
The Kingston HyperX Cloud Alpha is a very good wired gaming headset. It doesn't do anything fancy, but its excellent build quality and strong audio performance make it a compelling purchase.

Lacks high-end finesse
Almost an exact mirror image of the the HyperX Cloud II, this older brother just loses out in comfort and sound quality. However, this proves that Kingston has what it takes to listen and improve their range.
