Honor Magic 6 Pro review: brilliant and long-lasting review

Unusual (but great!) camera setup; Cavernous battery can take you to two days; Lovely-looking display; Epi green finish is distinctive;

Screen can seem too bright; MagicOS needs a little more polish; AI picture processing can be a bit much; Higher list price than rials;

Honor Magic 6 Pro review: bold, bright and beautiful

The Honor Magic 6 Pro boasts a striking design and enough premium hardware specs to warrant consideration alongside the best Android phones. Its market-leading display, supersized battery and versatile camera tech are a particular highlight, though the latter doesn’t hit the mark every time, and the phone’s AI offering feels underbaked.

Rival-beating display; Striking design; Strong battery life and performance

Cameras are impressive, but inconsistent; No generative AI tools

The Honor Magic 6 Pro is undoubtedly one of the best camera phones you can buy

Excellent main, telephoto and selfie cameras; Top-tier performance; Stunning 120Hz screen; Secure 3D face unlock; Very good battery life;

Underwhelming ultrawide camera; Cluttered software; Expensive;

Honor Magic 6 Pro review

The Apple iPhone 14 isn’t a huge upgrade on the iPhone 13, yet it still is a great phone with a top camera, good battery life and all the iOS benefits.

Clever safety features, Very good battery life, Reliable camera, Fun colours, You’ve got an ageing iPhone: If you’re on an iPhone 11 or older, then the changes here will make a notable difference.

Stuck on a 60Hz display, Minimal differences to the iPhone 13, You’ve got an iPhone 13: The changes from Apple’s previous phone aren’t enough to warrant an upgrade this year.

Honor Magic 6 Pro review

While it's a shame that picture and sound quality haven't been upgraded, the iPhone 13 was great in these regards and the iPhone 14 is, too Excellent display Admirable headphone performance Solid build quality No upgrades to picture or sound Familiar design Notch is still present

Honor Magic 6 Pro review

Slightly better cameras but otherwise, not much of an update - buy the iPhone 14 Pro or switch to Android instead

Better low-light photography, Slightly longer battery life, Action mode gives super stabilised video

The same performance as the iPhone 13, No Dynamic Island or Always-On display, 60Hz screen

Honor Magic 6 Pro review

It’s a great handset, but the improvements are so iterative that most of you will hardly notice what’s new.

Action mode offers truly superb video stabilization. eSIM makes it easy to switch phones (with other iPhones). Satellite SOS and Crash Detection add peace of mind.

Many of the specs remain the same as on the iPhone 13. Small battery gains. Photonic Engine isn’t as revolutionary as suggested.

Honor Magic 6 Pro review

It's easy to get carried away and lose sight of just how far we've come in the smartphone world. Apple's iPhone 14 is 7.8 millimeters thick but can communicate directly with satellites, boasts photographic talents that eclipse dedicated cameras and action cams, and does so starting at just $799.

Improved low-light camera performance, Clever safety features (you hope you won't need)

Improvements feel evolutionary, eSIM may prove a headache, iPhone 13 offers much the same for $100 less

Honor Magic 6 Pro review

“The iPhone 14 isn't a huge upgrade compared to its predecessor. But with a great design, screen, performance, and cameras, that's far from a bad thing at all.”

Comfortable, high-end build, OLED screen looks fantastic, A15 chip performs great, Good camera upgrades, Dependable battery life, Helpful safety features

60Hz display, No telephoto camera, eSIM might be a pain for some

Honor Magic 6 Pro review

The iPhone 14 comes to market with the same launch price as the previous generation. At the same time, iPhone connoisseurs were more than disillusioned after the presentation of the new smartphone. Apple leaves large parts of the hardware unchanged and does not dare to change the design.

Top performance level despite last year's chip, Very high quality workmanship, Improved image and video quality, Excellent battery life

Hardly any innovations, Charging takes too long for 2022
