Finally a high quality mid size printer that packs a punch like the bigger printers. I have had a great experience with the Xerox Phaser 6700. It prints fast and all the documents printed look sharp and clear. Working in a busy medical practice, this mid size machine gets a real work out.
The new Phaser 6700 series replaces the 6360 which was a top performing color laser for several years. The 6700 Xerox incorporates a new faster desktop color engine along with a fast 1.25 GHz processor to maximize performance.
The $1549 (as of 11/07/2012) Xerox Phaser 6700/DN produces some of the smoothest photos you'll see from a workgroup color laser printer , albeit a

The Xerox Phaser 6700DN is a workgroup colour laser printer with good speed, paper capacity, and features. Here's our Xerox Phaser 6700DN review.
The Xerox Phaser 6700DN, geared to high-volume color printing for small to mid-sized offices, and busy workgroups, can print beautiful text and middling photos and graphics.
Very good text quality; Low running cost; Generous standard paper capacity
Sub-par graphics and photos; Lackluster tested speed for its rated speed; No port for USB thumb drive
The Xerox Phaser 6700DN is a workgroup colour laser printer with good speed, paper capacity, and features. Here's our Xerox Phaser 6700DN review.
This printer frequently jams in tray one. Ink deposits into paper tray. Earlier versions (6200, 6360) offered easier use, more options and better quality color. So disappointed that our school won't order a Xerox printer again.
This printer replaced our trusty Phaser 6300DN. Print quality is sweet, a little slow on first page out, but then it cranks nicely. *However*, the touch screen interface on the printer to set paper sizes, types, etc. is a royal pain.
