FUJIFILM FUJINON XF 18-120mm f/4 LM PZ WR Lens - Brand New review

Slightly better cameras but otherwise, not much of an update - buy the iPhone 14 Pro or switch to Android instead

Better low-light photography, Slightly longer battery life, Action mode gives super stabilised video

The same performance as the iPhone 13, No Dynamic Island or Always-On display, 60Hz screen

FUJIFILM FUJINON XF 18-120mm f/4 LM PZ WR Lens - Brand New review

The iPhone 14 comes to market with the same launch price as the previous generation. At the same time, iPhone connoisseurs were more than disillusioned after the presentation of the new smartphone. Apple leaves large parts of the hardware unchanged and does not dare to change the design.

Top performance level despite last year's chip, Very high quality workmanship, Improved image and video quality, Excellent battery life

Hardly any innovations, Charging takes too long for 2022

FUJIFILM FUJINON XF 18-120mm f/4 LM PZ WR Lens - Brand New review

A slight camera upgrade, new emergency features, and... not a whole lot else

Better selfie camera, Good battery life, Crash detection and satellite SOS are neat

It’s more like an iPhone 13S, Display is still 60Hz, eSIM transition will be easy for most but painful for some

FUJIFILM FUJINON XF 18-120mm f/4 LM PZ WR Lens - Brand New review

It’s a great handset, but the improvements are so iterative that most of you will hardly notice what’s new.

Action mode offers truly superb video stabilization. eSIM makes it easy to switch phones (with other iPhones). Satellite SOS and Crash Detection add peace of mind.

Many of the specs remain the same as on the iPhone 13. Small battery gains. Photonic Engine isn’t as revolutionary as suggested.

Fujifilm Fujinon XF 18-120mm F4 LM PZ WR Review

The Fujinon XF 18-120mm F4 LM PZ WR ($899) is Fujifilm's first serious power zoom for its X mirrorless camera system. It includes a load of features for video creation, including an internal zoom that simplifies balance on gimbals, and multiple on-barrel zoom controls. It's a compelling lens for videographers, but its ergonomics aren't certain to please photographers. The XF 16-80mm F4 LM WR OIS is a better pick for generalists as well as our Editors' Choice winner for standard Fuji zooms, but cinematographers and vloggers have reason to reach for the 18-120mm PZ instead.Power Zoom, Traditionally for Video There is little deviation among zooms when it comes to design approach. The vast majority support mechanical zoom adjustment—a twist of a barrel changes focal length. The XF 18-120mm F4 takes a different approach. It's a power zoom, a type that uses motors to adjust. It's a desired feature for video, as it allows camera operators to make steady changes to the angle of view, for ...

Creators who use a Fuji camera for video should weigh the Fujinon XF 18-120mm F4 LM PZ WR due to its smooth power zoom operation and weather-protected design.

Three types of power zoom control; Dust, splash, and anti-smudge fluorine protection; Quick, quiet autofocus; No visible focus breathing; Snappy linear focus motors

Skips optical stabilization; Focus is not parfocal

With an effective focal length range of 27-183mm, a constant aperture of f/4, internal focusing and zooming, and a weight of just 460g, the Fujifilm Fujinon XF 18-120mm F4 LM PZ WR makes a very appealing lens for run-and-gun video.

Wide focal length range, Constant f/4 aperture, Power zoom

No aperture ring, Unstabilised

FUJIFILM FUJINON XF 18-120mm f/4 LM PZ WR Lens - Brand New review

The Apple iPhone 14 isn’t a huge upgrade on the iPhone 13, yet it still is a great phone with a top camera, good battery life and all the iOS benefits.

Clever safety features, Very good battery life, Reliable camera, Fun colours, You’ve got an ageing iPhone: If you’re on an iPhone 11 or older, then the changes here will make a notable difference.

Stuck on a 60Hz display, Minimal differences to the iPhone 13, You’ve got an iPhone 13: The changes from Apple’s previous phone aren’t enough to warrant an upgrade this year.

FUJIFILM FUJINON XF 18-120mm f/4 LM PZ WR Lens - Brand New review

The Apple iPhone 14 is no match for the just-released iPhone 14 Pro, but if you ignore that, it’s one of the most effective phones around.

Great cameras, front and back, Fast performance, Good battery life, Innovative safety features

Design too familiar, Some average features

FUJIFILM FUJINON XF 18-120mm f/4 LM PZ WR Lens - Brand New review

“The iPhone 14 isn't a huge upgrade compared to its predecessor. But with a great design, screen, performance, and cameras, that's far from a bad thing at all.”

Comfortable, high-end build, OLED screen looks fantastic, A15 chip performs great, Good camera upgrades, Dependable battery life, Helpful safety features

60Hz display, No telephoto camera, eSIM might be a pain for some

FUJIFILM FUJINON XF 18-120mm f/4 LM PZ WR Lens - Brand New review

The iPhone 14 isn’t much of an upgrade over the iPhone 13, but it’s still a great device and an upgrade for anyone coming from the iPhone 11 or older.

Great camera, Good battery, Emergency features are cool, Still excellent performance

Display could use some upgrades
