This a really deep game, easy to pick up and play but lots systems/combos/moves/cancels for those who want to really get involved. I think this game actually looks nicer than the show, everything is super crisp and faithful.

Absolutely love this game. I've been a huge dbz fan since I was a teenager. Graphics are amazing, voice overs are just like in the TV series. Game features a story mode that unlocks 1 new character after completing all 3 arcs, and 2 other characters can be bought with ingame currency, although...
I dont like
A dream come true for Dragon Ball fans, but also a highly competent fighting game that is a front runner for the best fighter of the generation.
Amazing visuals and great attention to detail for anime fans; Deep but accessible combat mechanics, with plenty of characters and an excellent story mode; Robust online options
There's nothing genuinely new in the gameplay, with a lot of obvious swipes from Capcom games; If you don't know Dragon Ball some of the character designs can seem repetitive
With the release of Dragon Ball FighterZ , Akira Toriyama's classic series has found a form of representation to rival its comics and cartoons. FighterZ looks and feels like the most faithful representation of the Dragon Ball universe we've seen in video games.
I absolutely enjoy playing this game on my spare time as the matches don't take up too long. The story mode was rather meh and having to fight the same enemies got boring after a while but playing local with friends or going online is pretty fun and exciting!
To my surprise I received a huge parcel with the Tekken 7 box which takes up alot of space & large space is something I don't have the comfort of having - so the fancy box will end up in the dustbin.
Quite possibly the most famous manga & anime on the planet, Dragon Ball Z is no stranger to the world of videogames. Little wonder, really; with distinctive character designs, lots of colour, and heaps of face punching via amusingly over-the-top combat, it's perfectly suited for adaptation.
It's interesting that it's taken until now, in an age of super-consoles and high-end PCs, for an anime series from the 90s to really feel like it's getting its visual just desserts in the realm of videogames.
Excellent game with a huge community on PS4. The game runs faster on SSD than on the PS4's default HDD, so if you want to cut down loading times (which are already reasonable), that's a good upgrade to consider.
