Despite some odd story and online structure problems, Dragon Ball Fighter Z is a superb fighting game, and likely the best game in the entire 30 year history. It's incredibly approachable but belies a hidden strategy that can be key to survival.
Everything about this game seems to flow perfectly together. It's light, yet heavy. It's fun, yet serious. It has the style and feel of Guilty Gear , the craziness and fluidity of Marvel vs. Capcom , and the familiarity of Dragon Ball .

Quite possibly the most famous manga & anime on the planet, Dragon Ball Z is no stranger to the world of videogames. Little wonder, really; with distinctive character designs, lots of colour, and heaps of face punching via amusingly over-the-top combat, it's perfectly suited for adaptation.
For me, Dragon Ball Z has always been about getting stronger, getting better and fighting back. Throughout my high school years and into young adulthood, I watched as much of the amazing anime as I could.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is a fantastic fighting game, and worth playing whether you're into Dragon Ball and fighters or not.
