Tekken 7 Review

truly is a hallmark, a fighting game crafted with obvious affection. It strikes a fine balance between accessibility to series newcomers and retaining much of its technical traditions.

Ultimate Tag-Team Kamehameha - Dragon Ball FighterZ Review

It's hard to argue that the Dragon Ball series isn't one of the most popular anime franchises to make its way to the west. Every year since 2002, a new Dragon Ball game, often based on Dragon Ball Z, has been released in some form.

Fun for casual players; deep gameplay for fighting game veterans; Plenty of modes to discover; for both single players and competitive players; Stunning visuals compliment quick paced action; Lengthy story mode with an original Dragon Ball storyline

...that can at times; seem a little repetitive; At launch; Ring Matches aren't always guaranteed to work

PS4 Review - 'Dragon Ball FighterZ'

Buy Dragon Ball FighterZ Dragon Ball Z is probably the biggest anime in the world. Even if you can't tell a Gundam from a Gintama, you've probably heard of it and can recognize its spikey-haired characters.

Dragon Ball FighterZ

Though countless video games have tried, with widely varying levels of success, to ape the dizzying battles that have defined Dragon Ball in its various forms over its 30-plus-year history, Dragon Ball FighterZ is the first game to not just fully match but surpass them in intensity.

Game Review: Tekken 7

Tekken is without a doubt one of my favourite fighting games of all time, one that I have been playing as a very young kid back from the days of the first playstation. Not only that but it was immensely popular as well, with me and my friends talking about different characters and sharing the combos...

Authentic Tekken Entry; Balanced Combat for Old and New Players; Huge Roster; Customisation Options And Unlockables; Dramatic Story Mode; Easy To Pick up; Hard to Master; Unique Modes

Minor Connectivity Issues; Story Could Make More Characters Shine

During my primary school days, Dragon Ball Z was a pretty big part of my daily schedule. At 5 pm on weekdays, I would almost religiously sit down in front of SABC2 to see if maybe today Goku and friends would be able to defeat the current greatest threat the universe has faced.

Beautiful presentation; Engaging fighting; True to source material

Story could be a little better; Where's Bio-Broly

Dragon Ball FighterZ review – anime authenticity

A dream come true for Dragon Ball fans, but also a highly competent fighting game that is a front runner for the best fighter of the generation.

Amazing visuals and great attention to detail for anime fans; Deep but accessible combat mechanics, with plenty of characters and an excellent story mode; Robust online options

There's nothing genuinely new in the gameplay, with a lot of obvious swipes from Capcom games; If you don't know Dragon Ball some of the character designs can seem repetitive

Despite some odd story and online structure problems, Dragon Ball Fighter Z is a superb fighting game, and likely the best game in the entire 30 year history. It's incredibly approachable but belies a hidden strategy that can be key to survival.

Dragon Ball FighterZ Review

It's interesting that it's taken until now, in an age of super-consoles and high-end PCs, for an anime series from the 90s to really feel like it's getting its visual just desserts in the realm of videogames.
