This is a fun game but not the holy grail I was hoping for.

I pity those who go into DiRT Rally expecting the game to control just like another DiRT game. If you don't already know, I should warn you now, this is a raw simulator – the vehicle handling requires lots of practice, patience and concentration, and a rewind feature is nowhere to be found.
DiRT Rally is the latest in the DiRT series from Codemasters. I've played past entries all the way back to the original and after extensive playing, have arrived at my verdict for the newest entry… Let me begin by stating that this game is not for rookies.
Super game! I am a picky with em, so I don't have a specific "TYPE" I like and after trying WWE and just to much work throwin a punch, same with that Batman game. Just want to play a game, don't wanna make a job learnin to do something simple, like I loved Ace Combat, to the point flying a sweet...
Dirt Rally has finally made its way onto consoles and if you are a rally racing fan it was definitely worth the wait. There is a lot to keep you busy here whether you are racing solo or with a group of friends.
Rally titles, while falling into the same genre as other racers, truly do remain to stand on their own. In the traditional sense it's just you and your co-driver against the clock.
Difficulty makes the game hugely rewarding
Difficulty might chase away newcomers to the genre
In a nutshell, DiRT Rally is a triumph. Coming from someone that has loved and been playing the original Colin McRae Rally game since the PlayStation 1 from 1998. Developers Codemasters have been developing the game since the very beginning and their love for the series truly shows once more in its...
Addictive & rewarding gameplay; Each location and terrain changes approach and tactics; Each and every car feels unique to the last; Looks fantastic and sounds great
Steep learning curve might put off some
Overall a decent sim rally game. (Review in version 1.1) PROS: Graphics are good. Car physics feel great. Stages are fun and demanding. Several different terrain/weather combinations. CONS: Claims that the cars are upgrade-able, which is kind of a stretch.
Was expecting better...Rallyes have only 4 stages each and impossible to use properly the e-brake(problem more with my steering wheel than the game) which is needed 2/3 times per stage and you lose 2/3 seconds each time...
Excellent game . One level difficulty so be prepared to accept the challenge. Overall its class played with a steering wheel and in car view.
