It looks like a throwback of the first Digimon World game. You get similar Digimons opening similar shops in your little town. But now you have two Digimons to take care of. It's a bit of a shame that the town is smaller now, and the gym has been reduced drastically.

If you enjoyed Digimon World 1, this is a must-have

While still remaining true to what Digimon World 1 was (a Digimon raising game), this game has vastly improved what was lacking in the first installment. Nostalgic

Very nostalgic I actually bought it without looking up any videos and was very pleased because I remember spending hours and hours of digimon world on ps1 and playing game that has the same mechanics but just revamped was amazing. If you're a digimon fan I'd recommend this to you.

Finally

A decent Digimon game arrives. Unfortunately Digimon fell by the wayside due to the ever more popular Pokemon, I wasn't really a Digimon fan but as I grew I started to respect it more and more and now we actually have a decent game based around the Digimon universe.

Digimon World: Next Order is a blast from the past for fans of the series & games, but a time killer for those who would just like to get through the main story.

If I had a Digimon, I'd Digimon in the morning: Digimon World: Next Order review

Digimon has always felt like the weird cousin of the monster collecting games, not quite as stylish and dramatic as its more celebrated counterpart. However, Digimon has a charm to it after you get past the absolute bizarre nature of cute faced blobs with fully adult voices, providing services and...

Passive; strategy focused battle system; Lots of exploration and discovery; Open world; free and unbridled; Nice; colorful graphics

Slow character movement; Glitchy on rare occasion; AI gets stuck on walls; barriers
