I bought this game at launch via pre-order and I've been playing it nearly non stop ever since. The game is gorgeous with fresh new explorable vistas to discover with the new cartoonish art style helping these locations pop. The game runs and feels beautifully, running at a surprisingly consistent 4K 60fps on a PS4 Pro. The game also feels very nice to control, with many problems from the n.sane trilogy being thoughtfully fleshed out and removed from the game. The game is also nice and floaty, allowing for consistent landing from your jumps and allows for much more platforming challenges. Suffice to say, I extremely recommend this game to any veteran of platformers or anyone who is up for a challenging game.
