It’s hard to improve upon perfection. Corsair’s trying, though. The $229 Corsair K100 RGB, successor to the beloved K95 RGB Platinum, adds a fresh coat of paint, new proprietary opto-mechanical switches, a customizable control dial, even more RGBs, and a swanky new wrist rest. Despite changing so many things, the K100 still carries the K95's excellent core design. That said, many of its new features offer only qualified improvements. If you want the kitchen sink of gaming keyboards, the K100 is now the most customizable, feature-rich keyboard on the market. More doesn’t necessarily mean better, though, and most people will not get their money’s worth from its pricey, extremely user-specific upgrades.
