Need a little practice before I control lens. But a real pleasure in Black and White portraits. Beautiful object.
This is a fascinating lens overall. Although the 90MM perspective limits its use for large architectural shots, it will render details well that cannot be reached without a ladder. Long street shots are beautiful with the lens, and although I haven't tried it yet, I see tabletop shots showing real...
Extremely well built; Sharp, unique perpective control features for a short telephoto lens
Lock knobs could be bigger

The tilt was only half what I expected. The lens will not attach to Canon's Macro Twin Lite. The lens will focus quite close, acting as a macro lens. The lens is well made, but the shift and tilt are at right angles and should have been made adjustable so

Close focusing; Rugged
Limited Tilt
"I have been wanting this lens for some time, and decided to order one when I saw the big savings ($340). The price is competitive even compared to B&H which is a big plus as I don't need to pay for the duty and and international shipment.
This lens is superb optically. I use it mainly in the studio for table top shots. I found that it is far more flexible for small jewelry products than when I used a 100mm Macro, because of the tilt feature. I have used it with the 2x Teleconverter to achieve very close results.
Great resolution; Tilt and shift are waaay more useful than shift alone
have to modify it to change the axis of shift with tilt; a little bulky (but not bad
Easy to use this lens, even with big hands. Well done build, smooth focusing. The image quality, sharpness best I ever seen. Fantastic to use product, food or even portrait photography. My favourite lens in the bag.
Canon have an impressive range of tilt and shift lenses for their full frame cameras, offering focal lengths of 17mm, 24mm , 45mm , 50mm and 135mm . Joining the line up is this new Canon TS-E 90mm f/2.8L Macro lens, focusing continuously down to a 1:2 magnification, a very useful half life size.
