I have tested these flashes in very extreme circumstances where I anchored multiple flashes directly to an ice waterfall. The flashes fired extremely well and gave me great confidence that I could use these flashes anywhere.

Easy To Pack; Easy to Use; Lightweight; Reliable
Worked completely well~ Good flash!
I bought the 600EX-RT 3 years ago with a new 1DX, needless to say I was blown away from both upgrades. I was using a 1Ds II and the 550 EX speedlite for many trouble free years. The speed of both but esp the flash was impressive and helpful.
As always I got what I paid for the best of the best. With the discount and lifetime support from the best company on the net .

I've used this flash many times for both indoor and outdoor photography. I've never had a single issue whatsoever. There are a range of different settings which make it possible to use in many different situations and lighting conditions.
I have been using my Speedlite 600EX II-RT for well over 2 years and I love it. At first, I kept it on manual and was delighted with the flexibility of the swivel head and the adjustable output. These days I use more TTL and the results are pristine.
Purchased two new 600EX-RT units, as Canon is coming out with a slightly modified, newer version, 600EX-RTII. So, Adorama's price made for a good deal. I'm quite happy with the flashes on TTL use, it seems this is a much improved flash over the 580EXII.
Flash units are useful for people who own a professional digital camera, especially those with a DSLR who would like to make the most of the range and versatility of lenses that are available to them.
