Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Lens - Brand New review

Slightly better cameras but otherwise, not much of an update - buy the iPhone 14 Pro or switch to Android instead

Better low-light photography, Slightly longer battery life, Action mode gives super stabilised video

The same performance as the iPhone 13, No Dynamic Island or Always-On display, 60Hz screen

Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Lens - Brand New review

The iPhone 14 comes to market with the same launch price as the previous generation. At the same time, iPhone connoisseurs were more than disillusioned after the presentation of the new smartphone. Apple leaves large parts of the hardware unchanged and does not dare to change the design.

Top performance level despite last year's chip, Very high quality workmanship, Improved image and video quality, Excellent battery life

Hardly any innovations, Charging takes too long for 2022

Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Lens - Brand New review

A slight camera upgrade, new emergency features, and... not a whole lot else

Better selfie camera, Good battery life, Crash detection and satellite SOS are neat

It’s more like an iPhone 13S, Display is still 60Hz, eSIM transition will be easy for most but painful for some

Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Lens - Brand New review

It’s a great handset, but the improvements are so iterative that most of you will hardly notice what’s new.

Action mode offers truly superb video stabilization. eSIM makes it easy to switch phones (with other iPhones). Satellite SOS and Crash Detection add peace of mind.

Many of the specs remain the same as on the iPhone 13. Small battery gains. Photonic Engine isn’t as revolutionary as suggested.

Canon RF24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Lens RF24105ISSTM review

The Canon RF 24-105mm F4-7.1 IS STM is the most affordable zoom lens for the R system, and one of the smallest and lightest full-frame zooms you can get for any camera.

Canon RF 24-105mm F4-7.1 IS STM Review

Canon has no shortage of premium, high-cost lenses for its full-frame EOS R camera system, but photographers looking for affordable glass have fewer options. Thankfully, the lowest-cost entry in the system, the Canon RF 24-105mm F4-7.1 IS STM ($399), makes the right compromises to net ample zoom range for everyday use, and is a fine complement to the compact EOS RP.Light Zoom, Plenty of Range Canon's competitors have been hard at work delivering compact, full-frame zooms for their respective camera systems, but have largely taken a different approach—lenses like the Nikon Z 24-50mm, Panasonic 20-60mm, and Sony FE 28-60mm all sacrifice telephoto coverage to make weight. The RF 24-105mm offers the same range of coverage as bigger, pricier f/4 zooms like Canon's own RF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM (4.2 by 3.3 inches, 1.5 pounds), but uses lighter glass in its design. The RF 24-105mm F4-7.1 is noticeably smaller (3.5 by 3 inches, HD) and lighter (13.9 ounces). Its f-stop isn't as bright, at ...

Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Lens - Brand New review

The Apple iPhone 14 isn’t a huge upgrade on the iPhone 13, yet it still is a great phone with a top camera, good battery life and all the iOS benefits.

Clever safety features, Very good battery life, Reliable camera, Fun colours, You’ve got an ageing iPhone: If you’re on an iPhone 11 or older, then the changes here will make a notable difference.

Stuck on a 60Hz display, Minimal differences to the iPhone 13, You’ve got an iPhone 13: The changes from Apple’s previous phone aren’t enough to warrant an upgrade this year.

Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Lens - Brand New review

The Apple iPhone 14 is no match for the just-released iPhone 14 Pro, but if you ignore that, it’s one of the most effective phones around.

Great cameras, front and back, Fast performance, Good battery life, Innovative safety features

Design too familiar, Some average features

Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Lens - Brand New review

“The iPhone 14 isn't a huge upgrade compared to its predecessor. But with a great design, screen, performance, and cameras, that's far from a bad thing at all.”

Comfortable, high-end build, OLED screen looks fantastic, A15 chip performs great, Good camera upgrades, Dependable battery life, Helpful safety features

60Hz display, No telephoto camera, eSIM might be a pain for some
