Canon RF f/2.8L IS USM Lens review

Slightly better cameras but otherwise, not much of an update - buy the iPhone 14 Pro or switch to Android instead

Better low-light photography, Slightly longer battery life, Action mode gives super stabilised video

The same performance as the iPhone 13, No Dynamic Island or Always-On display, 60Hz screen

Canon RF f/2.8L IS USM Lens review

The iPhone 14 comes to market with the same launch price as the previous generation. At the same time, iPhone connoisseurs were more than disillusioned after the presentation of the new smartphone. Apple leaves large parts of the hardware unchanged and does not dare to change the design.

Top performance level despite last year's chip, Very high quality workmanship, Improved image and video quality, Excellent battery life

Hardly any innovations, Charging takes too long for 2022

Canon RF f/2.8L IS USM Lens review

A slight camera upgrade, new emergency features, and... not a whole lot else

Better selfie camera, Good battery life, Crash detection and satellite SOS are neat

It’s more like an iPhone 13S, Display is still 60Hz, eSIM transition will be easy for most but painful for some

Canon RF f/2.8L IS USM Lens review

It’s a great handset, but the improvements are so iterative that most of you will hardly notice what’s new.

Action mode offers truly superb video stabilization. eSIM makes it easy to switch phones (with other iPhones). Satellite SOS and Crash Detection add peace of mind.

Many of the specs remain the same as on the iPhone 13. Small battery gains. Photonic Engine isn’t as revolutionary as suggested.

Canon RF 15-35mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens RF1535F28LIS review

The Canon RF 15-35mm F2.8 L IS USM is an ultra-wide zoom lens that's built to high standards, and includes both optical stabilization and an f/2.8 aperture—a rare combination among its peers.

Wide zoom with fixed f/2.8 aperture; Excellent optics; Pro-grade build; Weather protection and fluorine coating; Threaded filter support

Reliant on correction profile for the best results; Stabilization system adds some bulk; Pricey

Canon RF 15-35mm F2.8 L IS USM Review

The Canon RF 15-35mm F2.8 L IS USM ($2,299) is a lens for pro photographers who crave wide angles and work in tight spaces. It's the glass you reach for when getting immersive crowd shots on the dance floor at a reception, or to capture cavernous urban environs. As the first wide zoom for the EOS R mirrorless system, it carries the pedigree of the Canon brand, along with the expectations that come with it. Thankfully, it's an excellent performer, albeit at a premium price.Craving a Wide View The RF 15-35mm F2.8 L IS USM is the first ultra-wide zoom for the full-frame EOS R mirrorless system, and one of the few of its kind with its own image stabilization system—it's a feature typically limited to F4 zooms of this type. It's a big lens too, especially when mounted to the rather compact EOS R5 and R6 camera bodies. It measures 5.0 by 3.5 inches (HD), weighs 1.9 pounds, and has a flat front element with support for 82mm filters. A reversible petal-style lens hood is included, along ...

Canon RF f/2.8L IS USM Lens review

The Apple iPhone 14 isn’t a huge upgrade on the iPhone 13, yet it still is a great phone with a top camera, good battery life and all the iOS benefits.

Clever safety features, Very good battery life, Reliable camera, Fun colours, You’ve got an ageing iPhone: If you’re on an iPhone 11 or older, then the changes here will make a notable difference.

Stuck on a 60Hz display, Minimal differences to the iPhone 13, You’ve got an iPhone 13: The changes from Apple’s previous phone aren’t enough to warrant an upgrade this year.

Canon RF f/2.8L IS USM Lens review

The Apple iPhone 14 is no match for the just-released iPhone 14 Pro, but if you ignore that, it’s one of the most effective phones around.

Great cameras, front and back, Fast performance, Good battery life, Innovative safety features

Design too familiar, Some average features

Canon RF f/2.8L IS USM Lens review

“The iPhone 14 isn't a huge upgrade compared to its predecessor. But with a great design, screen, performance, and cameras, that's far from a bad thing at all.”

Comfortable, high-end build, OLED screen looks fantastic, A15 chip performs great, Good camera upgrades, Dependable battery life, Helpful safety features

60Hz display, No telephoto camera, eSIM might be a pain for some

Canon RF f/2.8L IS USM Lens review

The iPhone 14 isn’t much of an upgrade over the iPhone 13, but it’s still a great device and an upgrade for anyone coming from the iPhone 11 or older.

Great camera, Good battery, Emergency features are cool, Still excellent performance

Display could use some upgrades
