This is a very light camera and it works very well. Somehow I have not figured out how to connect to wifi on it but eventually I will.
No brainer to always have at least ONE spare charged. Expensive but you can count on the Brand. Plus no compatibility issues.
They come pre-charged, and they last just about as long as the actual factory battery, though a little less. The charger feels kind of cheap though, and I doubt I'll ever use it.
Due to the small battery size coupled with the electrical demands of today's cameras, having spare batteries is essential. This makes a total of three I'll carry when out for a day's shooting. Such is the trade-off with small, yet powerful cameras.
"There are MANY equivalent batteries out there that conform to the size, voltage, and Amps spec of the original without the Canon name that are FAR more affordable. Do a bit of research before spending stupid money for the Canon logo."
