The optical system, construction, and exterior are the same as the EF 75-300 mm f/4-5.6 III USM's. The difference is that it uses a DC motor instead of a USM to drive the AF.

I'm just an amateur photographer, so take this lightly. I needed a zoom lens just for fun, and this one was cheap and actually works pretty good for the price.
Very super and very
A lens that is too good for its price. To start your Wildlife Photography on a rough sea, please use this lens. This Lens will be your first step and the best step.
This lens was perfect for me. The zoom function is plenty for my needs and I was impressed with the price, (I bought it on sale). To get even a slighter better zoom, the price doubled but this lens is by no means a comprise, it is an excellent addition to my camera.
Cool cheap lens. But that's what it is. Don't expect AF to work well on a modern camera. In MF on 75-125ish it shot slightly worse than my kit 15-45 EF-M. But that's expected with the higher range. Too much noise however requires a lot of photoshop and resolution scale down to make good images.
This lens is great! It works smoothly and zooms pretty far. It's not the best zoom lens out there, but it is decent for it's price. The lens are not recommended for video since it doesn't have image stabilization.
GREAT CANON LENS, ITS LIGHT, THE LENS DIALS ARE TIGHT, NO LOOSE RINGS OR NOISE, ITS BEEN PUT TOGETHER VERY WELL, LENS WORKS GREAT ON MY CANON T7I. THE IMAGES ARE CLEAR AND CRISP, THE FOCAL LENGTH IS AMAZING....I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LENS.
