I bought this in May 2010 to take on our trip West to Yellowstone NP, Custer State Park, Badlands NP and the Grand Tetons. I watched 2 grizzlies eating a bison carcus about 100 yards away and at 40 magnification was able to see all the teeth, claws and their hair blowing in the breeze.

HAVE USED THIS SOCPE NOW FOR A FEW WEEKS AND IT WORKS OK, I EXPECTED MORE FROM READING THE REVIEWS THAT CAME BEFORE ME. THE LITTLE TRIPOD IS NOT GREAT SO I PUT THE SCOPE ON AN OLD PHOTO TRIPOD I HAD.

We take vacations where we do a lot of hiking and sight-seeing. I thought these would be great because of their size, weight, and quality, based on reviews I read on the internet. Well, now that I have them I can say they are everything as advertised...and exceeded my expectations.

Bought the scope mostly for the shooting range. Have used it several times and it fits our need perfectly. Haven't used any other scopes prior to the Bushnell 782065. At this time don't need to.
