The Brother HL-1210W Compact Wireless Mono Laser Printer was simple to set up. Easy to use. Economical and ink lasts very long. Great price & good value for money.

Basic desktop printer
Useful for what we needed. Very basic, b&w only, double-sided printing is cumbersome. Pretty fast printing. Haven't changed the toner yet so can't comment on that.

Very good value for money.
I was after a black and white printer for printing school papers in large-ish volume. Inkjet printers are just too expensive and slow to use. This printer ticked all the boxes: reasonable cost, toner not too expensive and faster than inkjet.

"Great B/W printer"
Awesome little printer, takes up no space on the desk. Though as other people have said, the black could be more black, but really not an issue.

Pros:

- Print quality is decent
Cons:
- takes a little while to start printing once job is sent to printer

Privacy concerns
Build quality as you would expect. More interestingly though, is that the privacy agreement suggests that your documents might be sent off to Brother's servers, should they need to be converted before printing. Er, no thanks. Boxed it up again after 10 minutes.

Brother HL1210W Mono laser Printer Wireless /150-sheet 20ppm Black/
Works fine. A bit noisy but that doesn't bother me. Wireless means it can placed out of the way. I did temporarily connect via USB for the setup as it suggests this is the best way even though it doesn't come with a USB cable

Just what i wanted
I wanted a printer that just did B&W on A4 size paper and would sometimes sit idle for awhile in between jobs.Well this works a treat,toner can be left for ages between use. It takes a small period of time to fire up, when it does, printed paper comes out quickly and perfectly printed.Recommend.

Nice printer.
No callback received from Printerland so decided to order anyway. Glad I did. Within 10 mins of delivery it was ready to print, no drivers needed for Windows10 as W10 detected and installed the printer itself when connected via usb, my preferred method. First urgent letter printer out perfectly.
