Easy to use product
This is my first printer and I am very happy with my purchase. Very easy to set up and to use. Good quality of the print. Good value for the money.

Great perfomance, small footprint
I wanted a replacement all-in-one laser printer/scanner to provide all my required functionality in one device. I didn't need colour printing any more but did want a decent colour scanner to produce several document formats for attaching to emails.

Great features -? perhaps a photocopy facility
I am very happy with your Brother Printer - I have no complaints whatsoever other than to remark perhaps you may consider having a photocopy attached with the printer.

Review of the Brother DCP-1510 A4 Mono Laser Multifunction All-In-One Printer
Pros This is a quick printer with a small footprint. Despite the small cartridge it will easily do the stated 1000 copies and more (700 from the starter cartridge). The print is clear and crisp and so far no paper jams. The software supplied is easy to use. Cons No USB cable supplied.

Disappointing: bulky and slow.
Several aspects are disappointing, and I wouldn't have bought this model if I'd known of them. I had a very effective Brother HL2140, but needed to replace a scanner, so I bought this as the replacement.

Brother DCP-1510
The Brother DCP-1510 is a simple laser all-in-one. Often this is all that is needed for a home-office or student bedroom, when text output is the primary requirement. Such kit is normally ￡100 or more, but it's possible to buy Brother's DCP-1510 for around three quarters of this price.
Pros:
- Light
- easy to move
- Easy set up
- Economical two-part cartridge
Cons:
- No wireless or Ethernet connection
- Noisy when printing
- Awkwardly placed/sized power button
