The Beats Solo Pro headphones delivers quality noise cancellation with a bass-forward, but relatively balanced, sound signature. With the Solo Pro headphones, Beats essentially takes the popular Solo3 Wireless and adds active noise cancellation (ANC). At $299.95, they're priced to compete with top noise-cancelling models like the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700. Neither Bose nor Beats are known for accurate audio performance, though here Beats delivers a boosted-bass sound signature that manages to keep the overall listening experience balanced and clear. From an ANC standpoint, Beats isn't quite on par with Bose, but you're also paying less. That said, the price still feels a bit high, though as with Bose, popular branding comes with its own premium.
