Works good not great

Major issues when wearing outdoors as the wind causes the headphones to blur and not really the quality I expected. However indoors / not around wind they preform fairly well.

Beats Solo Pro

From an audio perspective, the Beats Solo Pro headphones handle bass well without going overboard. The noise cancellation can't quite compete with Bose's two heavy hitters, the $350 QuietComfort 35 II and the $400 Noise Cancelling Headphones 700, though you can argue that, at $50 to $100 less, it...
Pros:
  • Powerful audio performance with boosted bass and sculpted highs
  • Solid noise cancellation blocks out low-frequency rumble
  • Voice control option for iOS devices
Cons:
  • Expensive
  • No track navigation buttons
  • Noise cancellation adds slight hiss
  • No ANC or EQ adjustments

Beats Solo Pro Review

The Beats Solo Pro headphones delivers quality noise cancellation with a bass-forward, but relatively balanced, sound signature. With the Solo Pro headphones, Beats essentially takes the popular Solo3 Wireless and adds active noise cancellation (ANC). At $299.95, they're priced to compete with top noise-cancelling models like the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700. Neither Bose nor Beats are known for accurate audio performance, though here Beats delivers a boosted-bass sound signature that manages to keep the overall listening experience balanced and clear. From an ANC standpoint, Beats isn't quite on par with Bose, but you're also paying less. That said, the price still feels a bit high, though as with Bose, popular branding comes with its own premium. Ultimately, the headphones deliver more than just a familiar logo, with effective ANC and powerful audio that will appeal to bass lovers. Design Available in black, dark blue, gray, ivory, light blue, or red, the Solo Pro are on-ear (supra-aural) headphones with ample memory foam cushioning in the earpads and headband. They're bulky, but comfortable over...

Beats Solo Pro Wireless Noise Cancelling On-Ear Headphone - Black MRJ62FE/A review

The Beats Solo Pros don't really do anything new. There’s no groundbreaking technology on offer here, and no brilliant new design. We’ve seen all these individual features and functions before, and the design, while nicely tweaked from the Solo 3, is still very familiar.
Pros:
  • Lots of available colors
  • Excellent noise cancellation
  • Very good sound quality
  • H1 chip for hands-free Siri and easy syncing
Cons:
  • Expensive
  • Doesn't fit very large heads well
