The Beats Solo Pro offer excellent ANC and decent sound quality but the on-ear design might not be to everyone's tastes
Pros:

Cons:

Great sound
Needed sound cancelling headphones and these work great, sound is clear so I dont have to have the volume so high

Works good not great
Major issues when wearing outdoors as the wind causes the headphones to blur and not really the quality I expected. However indoors / not around wind they preform fairly well.

The Beats Solo Pro are a great set of on-ear noise-cancelling headphones. They sound good, have solid noise cancelling and are comfortable and stable on your head. Bluetooth connectivity is rock-solid and the battery lasts long enough for the weekly commute or flights.

- good noise cancelling
- instant pairing with Apple with H1 chip
- robust
- comfortable for on-ear headphones
- strong Bluetooth
Cons:
- expensive
- no headphones cable in the box
- need to turn off ANC for best sound
- no pause on remove
- no support for aptX or better

The Beats Solo Pro makes few compromises between form and function. The design will appeal to many while the Beats moniker still informs passersby of the brand. Noise-cancelling is uniquely effective for on-ear headphones. Unfortunately, comfort is an issue after an hour.

Build quality is superb, ANC is on point and sound isn’t bad still satisfying its bass loving fan base. I only wish they weren’t as tight like its previous Solos and still surprised it includes no audio cable whatsoever with its $300 price point.
