Wouldn't pay 5 dollars for this game.

The graphics are terrible compared to its BF4 counterpart. Then again, you really have two different development teams doing each game(Visceral for Hardline) and (DICE Stockholm/now DICE LA taking over) While DICE did provide opinions on what Hardline should be to Visceral, this game just isn't a...

Battlefield Hardline

While I'll play pretty much any kind of game, I tend to frequent the shooter genre above everything else. Sadly, the genre has become increasingly stale, with yearly iterations of the same franchises cluttering up the market with glorified re-skins and very little originality making the final cut.

+ Fun and engaging single player campaign; + Play-style choices in campaign; + Interesting characters; + Same high octane multiplayer you've grown to love; + Hotwire and Crosshair game modes are a worthy addition

- Mediocre ending; - Lack of character development; - Worthless AI; both partners and enemies; - Ease of collectables

Battlefield Hardline

Battlefield Hardline is Electronic Art's lucky thirteenth release for the Battlefield franchise. The newest release takes the first-person shooter from massive wars between countries to the battlefields of cops and crooks back home.

Battlefield Hardline review

Multiplayer is still very much at the core of the Battlefield experience, and Hardline is no different. While the campaign has its moments and is a refreshing break-away from the typical run-and-gun linearity from the series' other entries, it lacks that sense of "speed" that is on show in the...

+ Campaign stealth is a welcomed change; + Multiplayer design is still top-notch; + New modes mix new and old well

- The campaign's driving sequences; - Campaign rewards add little value; - Shallow protagonist; - Stealth mechanics often feel too dumbed down
