Works like its advertised to. Don't have a lot of vibration problem in my"Studio", closet, but what little there is doesn't get through.

Purchased this product as a birthday present for my daughter. The picture shows USB connection; however, when it arrived, it wasn't the USB model - disappointing.
This is an awesome condenser mic for the first time Podcaster or VO artist. Most pros will steer you away from a USB mic, but unless you want to drop a lot of money on other equipment, USB is the way to go for a beginner.
Clarity; Quality; USB (for noobs
Not high end USB (for pros
A brilliant side address mic - sturdy and well made, great sound for a budget mic
I use mine to record a 5 piece rock band with a Boss BR1600CD recorder in the basement. Specifically I use them as overheads for the drums and I use the 2020 for vocals. Sometimes I use a Shure SM57 on a guitar cabinet and then put the 2121 a few feet back just to capture a little more ambience.
I tried to post a review before, but I'm thinking I didn't specify I was over 13, so it didn't go through. I'm 55. I bought two of these on the advice of my equipment supplier, who has never lead me wrong before. He didn't lead me wrong this time either.
Replaced an MXL 990 with this mic.Much warmer sound and definitly alot less noise. As in the previous statement, why pay more for Heil`s overpriced stuff!
The Audio Technica is a cardoid condenser microphone. It comes in a USB version (slightly different to this one) and a standard XLR connection microphone on review here. The reason I bought this microphone: i review products, technology related, computers, software, gadgets and produce two videos...
This is a great mic kit for the music student who wants to record and review their music skills, and can easily be used to create demo tracks. Like all condenser mics, these are sensitive to shock and dampness, so use them in a quiet indoor setting. The included Cakewalk software (LE) is awesome.
Clear Sound; Easy To Use; Professional Functions
Audio Technica is no stranger to those who demand quality audio products. and with the AT2020, they've just raised the price/performance bar for studio quality condensers. _______________________________________________________________________ The AT2020 is a side-address condenser mic, with a...
1) Support: Got an question? Give Audio Technica a call and speak to Dave the audio pro; 2) Bang-for-the-Buck: The AT2020 quite simply outclasses anything available at this price
Not feature-rich; but it's obvious Audio Technica allocated costs toward delivering an affordable studio quality mic that isn't just another pretender
