This starts a great game, really enjoyable but as you progress it becomes impossible. It learns you about stealth and how to attack the energy by surprise but suddenly it forgets about stealth and even though you move from bush to bush they detect you every time.

This game only worked to a certain level (Governor no more) then would not continue after saving then attempting to load not go further. Disk looked fine. Really disappointed my disabled roommate who plays one handed had lost all that effort.. Not happy and will not buy another used game on Ebay.

Absolutely stunning and brilliant game. By far my favourite in the Assassins Creed franchise. Being able to sail on the open seas is freedom like no other in a game before. If you have any interest in pirates then this is the game for you.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag begins with a case of stolen identities, as the shipwrecked Edward Kenway murders a Templar and steals the man's clothes (and name) in order to get home.

Frustratingly shallow and hamstrung by underdeveloped gameplay mechanics, and yet somehow the fact that that an open world pirate game exists at all is enough to provide a certain amount of fun.

Enormous game world with an almost endless array of things to see and do; Fun new present day sections and enjoyable naval battles; Generally good graphics, for a current gen port

None of the gameplay elements stand up to close scrutiny and the artificial intelligence is extremely basic; Meandering plot and largely uninteresting characters

Man the cannons and brace for impact, because Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is here to blow up any preconceived notions you had about the annual franchise. With a great cast of characters and a huge world to explore, this next-generation sequel is the best installment since Assassin's Creed II.
