Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag

Assassin's Creed is a franchise that is very close to my heart. AC1 was one of the first games I played on my Xbox 360 and the second game I played on my PS3 (the inaugural game had to be Metal Gear Solid 4) and I have been fascinated with the franchise ever since.

good story; large open world; varied gameplay

textures still draw; some missions are repetitive; combat is still mechanical

"Great Game"

Awesome game having alot of fun playing, I find the hardest part steering my ship and trying to fire my cannons correctly at times definitely recommend to all, also great service from Mightyape as always

Must HAVE

I've played all A.C. games and the whole purpose of these games isn't to teach war or kill innocents or for fun, but to learn about history. I learned A LOT about history. i say this because assassins creed games takes place in different time eras like Egypt, London, paris, etc.

Again Play-Asia delivered on time as promised 5/5 for PA. After playing AC3, AC4 seems like a continual improvement of its core mechanics. Gameplay is pretty much solid and what you expect from an AC game.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – Freedom Cry Review

Ubisoft cranks out a brand-new Assassin's Creed game once a year. I should know. I've played every single Assassin's Creed to date, blazing a trail of silently stabbed corpses in marathon play sessions, hungrily gobbling up every twist and turn in the franchise's convoluted narrative.

More pirating; battling; plundering; diving; Adewale is an interesting character for players of all backgrounds; Liberating slave ships requires you to master high-seas combat and stealth; Try a swash-buckling assault on a plantation and owners might kill the slaves you've come to free; Machete and...

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

Assassin's Creed IV was quite the ride. Bringing new meaning to the phrase "a pirate's life for me," it was such a step up from the third entry that many fans are now clamoring for a full-on pirate spinoff series. Honestly?

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (PS4)

Assassin's Creed II was the perfect sequel. It bettered the troubled original in every way and delivered a game that was as much about exploration and the wonderful sense of discovery as it was its titular killing.

Review: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag marks a return to form for the franchise

Beautiful, expansive and rewarding. Fresh experiences mark a return to form for the franchise.

Fresh gameplay revitalises the series; A gorgeous world to escape to; Ridiculous amount of content

Latter half of the story is weaker; Occasionally archaic mission structures

Ashraf Ismail's Pirates!

I'm still waiting until we get a modern assassin game out of this universe, but until then Black Flag breathes a whole new energy back into the series. It also looks stunning on the PlayStation 4 and offers a lot of bang for your buck.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag

An ambitious start for Assassin's Creed on next-gen. The vibrant Caribbean world and bloody piracy shine brightest, while the only sour notes come from contrived series story beats and repetitive missions--both need rethinking for AC5.

Beautiful; vast open world; Edward Kenway is an excellent rogue; Top-notch side-missions

Main missions suffer from repetition; Assassin's Creed lore has devolved to nonsense; Very few actual assassinations
