Assassin's Creed is a franchise that is very close to my heart. AC1 was one of the first games I played on my Xbox 360 and the second game I played on my PS3 (the inaugural game had to be Metal Gear Solid 4) and I have been fascinated with the franchise ever since.

I've played all A.C. games and the whole purpose of these games isn't to teach war or kill innocents or for fun, but to learn about history. I learned A LOT about history. i say this because assassins creed games takes place in different time eras like Egypt, London, paris, etc.

Again Play-Asia delivered on time as promised 5/5 for PA. After playing AC3, AC4 seems like a continual improvement of its core mechanics. Gameplay is pretty much solid and what you expect from an AC game.

Ubisoft cranks out a brand-new Assassin's Creed game once a year. I should know. I've played every single Assassin's Creed to date, blazing a trail of silently stabbed corpses in marathon play sessions, hungrily gobbling up every twist and turn in the franchise's convoluted narrative.

Assassin's Creed IV was quite the ride. Bringing new meaning to the phrase "a pirate's life for me," it was such a step up from the third entry that many fans are now clamoring for a full-on pirate spinoff series. Honestly?

Assassin's Creed II was the perfect sequel. It bettered the troubled original in every way and delivered a game that was as much about exploration and the wonderful sense of discovery as it was its titular killing.

Beautiful, expansive and rewarding. Fresh experiences mark a return to form for the franchise.

I'm still waiting until we get a modern assassin game out of this universe, but until then Black Flag breathes a whole new energy back into the series. It also looks stunning on the PlayStation 4 and offers a lot of bang for your buck.

An ambitious start for Assassin's Creed on next-gen. The vibrant Caribbean world and bloody piracy shine brightest, while the only sour notes come from contrived series story beats and repetitive missions--both need rethinking for AC5.
