Apple Watch 10 Review: The Best Smartwatch Gets Even Better
The Apple Watch 10 is Apple's anniversary model and brings some improvements in design, performance, and functions without changing the successful formula too much. At first glance, the changes seem small, and you might ask yourself: Is the new Apple Watch worth it for me?- Up to 2,000 nits, better viewing angles, S10 chip: Faster, more powerful, more responsive, New function: integrated sleep apnea detection, Quick charge: 30 minutes for 80%, Old wristbands and chargers compatible, Water sports: depth and temperature measurement, tide predictions
- Limited battery life with intensive use, Minimal differences to the Apple Watch 9, No Android support, iPhone required
Apple Watch Series 10 review: Slimmer, sleeker, but familiar ground
The Apple Watch Series 10 refines its winning formula with a slimmer design, larger display, and faster charging. New features like sleep apnea detection and voice isolation for calls add value, but incremental changes may not justify upgrading from Series 9.- Slimmer design and lighter weight, Larger, bezel-reduced display with better off-angle visibility, Fast charging, Voice isolation for calls
- No major design overhaul, Battery life remains unchanged
Apple Watch Series 10 review: The all-rounder
Many layers of refinement make the Series 10 an excellent smartwatch with primarily, a stunning new display. Overall it’s the sweet spot of Apple’s range. It’s not perfect, but if you want one of the latest models it’s a no brainer for most people.- Sleek and comfortable, Excellent screen, Plenty of tracking and features, Fast charging
- No battery life improvement, Can get very expensive
Apple Watch Series 10 review: Bigger isn’t always better
Aside from a bigger screen and some minor quality-of-life features, there’s not much that separates the new Apple Watch from its predecessor. It could be worth the switch if you’re looking to take advantage of the fall detection and better battery life though.- Bigger, brighter screen, Polished jet black finish, Audio playback without headphones, Depth gauge, Emergency calls in additional countries
- No battery life improvements, Limited available colours
Apple Watch Series 10
Tweaks to the design have made this the comfiest Apple Watch yet, even if the growing displays mean those with smaller wrists might want to look elsewhere. Sleep apnea detection is great, and WatchOS just gets more powerful each year.- Comfy to wear, Sleep apnea detection is great to have, Faster charging
- Battery life remains short
Apple Watch Series 10 review: A good time to upgrade
Now is the time to upgrade your Apple Watch.- Larger display, Slimmer, more comfortable case, Faster charging, Great build quality, New health features
- Needs to be charged daily, Charging requires special puck
The Apple Watch Series 10 Is So Good I (Almost) Want to Give Up My Ultra 2
The Apple Watch Series 10 takes an already winning formula and injects some new tricks from the Ultra line to create an even better smartwatch for most Apple fans. With the larger screen, lighter and thinner case, and new health features, it’s hard to go wrong with Series 10.- Display on 46mm version is larger than the Ultra 2 display, Case is thinner and lighter, making it easier to wear for long periods of time, Jet black aluminum case is a standout, Sleep apnea detection, Added water temperature and depth gauge
- Missing blood oxygen detection, Titanium versions are in the same price range as the Ultra 2
Apple Watch Series 10 review: thin is in, but I find out if it delivers on battery life
The Apple Watch is a decade old now… and while there’s a refined design for the Apple Watch Series 10 model, the one upgrade that I really want isn’t here- Faster charging is a welcome improvement, Slightly larger display also great, The most sleek Apple Watch yet
- Battery life really should be longer, The titanium option is extremely expensive, Watch SE will still be a better option for some
Apple Watch Series 10 review: two steps forward, one step back
“The Apple Watch Series 10 is another strong entry in the Apple Watch family, and a (mostly) easy reccomendation.”- The thinner design is a big deal, Jet Black looks phenomenal, Subtle (but welcome) screen upgrades, I love the new speaker, Excellent health/fitness features, Improved charging speeds
- No blood-oxygen tracking, Sleep apnea is also on the Series 9, Still just one-day battery life
Apple Watch Series 10 (42mm) review
If you’ve been waiting for a big Apple Watch revamp, this isn’t it, but it's still the best smartwatch around.
