Aside from a bigger screen and some minor quality-of-life features, there’s not much that separates the new Apple Watch from its predecessor. It could be worth the switch if you’re looking to take advantage of the fall detection and better battery life though.

Tweaks to the design have made this the comfiest Apple Watch yet, even if the growing displays mean those with smaller wrists might want to look elsewhere. Sleep apnea detection is great, and WatchOS just gets more powerful each year.

The Apple Watch Series 10 Is So Good I (Almost) Want to Give Up My Ultra 2
The Apple Watch Series 10 takes an already winning formula and injects some new tricks from the Ultra line to create an even better smartwatch for most Apple fans. With the larger screen, lighter and thinner case, and new health features, it’s hard to go wrong with Series 10.
Pros:
- Display on 46mm version is larger than the Ultra 2 display, Case is thinner and lighter, making it easier to wear for long periods of time, Jet black aluminum case is a standout, Sleep apnea detection, Added water temperature and depth gauge
Cons:
- Missing blood oxygen detection, Titanium versions are in the same price range as the Ultra 2

The Apple Watch is a decade old now… and while there’s a refined design for the Apple Watch Series 10 model, the one upgrade that I really want isn’t here
