The Apple Watch Series 10 Is Still the Best Smartwatch for the iPhone
The absence of a blood oxygen sensor is a huge ding. But the Apple Watch still does everything else, and looks hella good doing it.
Pros:
- Bigger, brighter display. Thinner and lighter. Faster charging. WatchOS 11 has a ton of new algorithms. New sleep apnea tracking feature is FDA-cleared and potentially life-changing for a lot of people. Best accessories. New water features. New black finish looks very nice.
Cons:
- No blood oxygen sensing! Why!? No improvements on the battery life front. Focus on water sports is weird to everyone but me.

The Apple Watch Series 10 is so good it makes my Apple Watch Ultra feel unnecessary
The Series 10 is Apple's thinnest Apple Watch yet. It also features the company's largest smartwatch screen to date, allowing the device to display more text and a bigger keyboard for typing.
Pros:
- Slightly bigger display, Audio playback through internal speaker, Thinner and lighter than Series 9
Cons:
- Not much of an upgrade over the Series 9, Aluminum is now polished and a smudge magnet, Still the same overall design as last year

Aside from a bigger screen and some minor quality-of-life features, there’s not much that separates the new Apple Watch from its predecessor. It could be worth the switch if you’re looking to take advantage of the fall detection and better battery life though.
