Popular build item

I'm building my PC still and haven't been able to use it yet, still need a couple of components. The reason I'm leaving this review is because I rushed into PB tech in wellington very late in the evening, no more than 5 mins from closing. The PB tech employee provided great service - they approached me, asked how I was doing, went through the list of components I needed and gave me the starting piece very quickly. Didn't make feel rushed at all or out of place by making them wait back past closing time. Thanks team!

Best value B450 Ryzen board on the market - when on sale

The features on this M-ATX board will rival many X470 boards. Bought this with Ryzen 2600 and 16GB Ballistic RAM 2666MHz CL16 I'd recommend this M-ATX board over the Full ATX version. The extra you pay for the full ATX and what you get for the extra money...it does not compute in my math. Unless you absolutely need more PCIe slots, then its cool. Pros: Can overclock you Ryzen chips (your mileage will vary depending on your chip and silicon lottery) Decent amount of connectivity for this price range. It's best to buy these when on sale. RGB heads and onboard RGB. (this ccan be disabled in Bios) Bios is simple 4 x DIMM sl...view more

Good Value Matx board

Has everything you need - Matx means of course fewer PCI slots. But 2 x m.2 is nice, the 2nd m.2 is a sata m.2,.Uisng an nvme m.2 for boot, and a SATA m.2 for apps, this makes for a very clean build, no drive cables for the win! Overclocks ok, not sure how it would go with an 8 core + CPU, but no issues overclocking a 3600. The RGB is okay, im not a huge fan of RGB, but thta is personal taste. Came with Zen2 bios ( Ryzen 3XXX ) already loaded.

Ready to go out of box for Ryzen 3000 series CPUs

Been looking for the MSI Tomahawk for a long time, but it was never in stock, and always at full price. Considered the Mortar Max too, as the MSI boards were the only ones to be Ryzen 3000 series ready out of box for a while. Then I saw this pretty little Asrock board available for 10-20 dollars less than the MSI boards, and looked up reviews. If you are simply looking to put a 3600 or 3700x in this board, the VRMs are more than enough. If you are looking to put a 3900 + in, then maybe look at the MSI boards or a X570 board. I like the aesthetics, it has a snow camo look, and nice RGB. Decent connectors, including USB 3.1. Only t...view more
