Great UPS
Snapped one up for the unbelievable low price of $40 at a local hamfest, thinking it would probably not work and would at the least require a battery replacement. Would you believe it turned out everything works like a champ! I already had a smartUPS model 1000XL which still serves me well.
Pros:
- Lots of power
- long runtime
- good remote management and diagnostics possible with free software

- New they are a bit pricey

I have seven of these now and cannot be happier. They are a great mid-level UPS and are generator compatible. The front LCD is clear and easy to understand. The rear has ample connections. The mounting kit is very stable and easy to install.

POWER-SAVING BACK-UPS PRO 1000
I use it for my Dell Studio XPS 9100 computer, 21.5" monitor, router, cable modem, speakers, printer. It represents less then 20% load for the UPS (115 W). I had couple of power outages recently. UPS worked great. I was left with 42 minutes of battery power.
Pros:
- Quiet operation
- Very powerful
- All features work as advertised
- Very useful disaplay of parameters like current load, time left (in battery operation

There's really nothing odd about this product: it does exactly what it says on the box. It sends e-mail alerts whenever the battery kicks off, it sends signal to computers via Ethernet to shutdown (up to 40 or 50, I think)

if you have a generator you need a smart-ups for any electronics that have a circuit board

Reliable choice!
We are a small business, that operates with two servers and a battery for each one of them. In our facility we have to run a large test machine that causes a fluctuation in the electricity; and these batteries kicks in every time that the machine starts, in a daily basics.

APC Smart UPS SMT750
I have used many different UPS systems over the last 19 years and APC is the only unit I will sell to my clients now. This product is being used for a Dell PowerEdge T320 for a small non-profit.
Pros:
- -High quality
- Good price
- Good software
- LCD is helpful
- Newegg price and shipping was good also

- I wish they were free

Excellent UPS for smaller loads
You just can't go wrong with the Smart-UPS line. This one continues the tradition, adding an LCD screen for easy up-front status information and testing.

Perfect for my server, router and Wi-Fi
Perfect for my server, router and Wi-Fi. For the price, this can't be beat. Gives me enough protection during power failures and the runtime is great. Have tested multiple times.
