Off grid- works in reverse too

APC Line-R 1200VA Automatic voltage regulator (external)
I have been using this product for a week now whil it is ok for a cd player i found that when i tried to use it on my blu ray player it was a disapointment the picture lacked sharpness and also the picture was somewhat soft.

Its great to check all voltages... I used it and found out one of my outlets was the wrong voltage and fixed it...

The LE1200 is a great line conditioner. I have 10 of these in use for various home electronic/theatre applications (projectors, LCD TVs, computers, powered subwoofers, receivers/HDtuners/DVRs/etc.).

Dirty Power Stinks
This product simply regulates voltage to a specific amount helping against brownouts. These are different than spikes which up the voltage, brownouts drop the voltage. This will damage equipment, in my case PA speakers. We blew one and the others overheated at a specific club.
Pros:
- easy to use
- performs well
- value for money

Nothing broken as of yet.
The 'click' noise means its doing its job and I've only had it happen a few times; mostly when the circuit is at maximum load. I do wonder about the product's lifespan and how far it will work after warrantee.
Pros:
- I don't know much about Voltage Regulators but this one seems to be working just fine
- I have a 50' Samsung Plasma TV, custom desktop pc, modem, and router plugged into it
- I've had it for approx
- 1/2 a year
Cons:
- Power switch is in a very awkward position and makes me careful not to go near it when I have any products working from it

DOA
The unit I received was dead on arrival. Followed the manual, tried resetting it's internal breaker didn't work. I tried several different outlets. The fault light on the rear of the unit didn't even illuminate. I don't trust this brand with my electronics from now on.
