The shipping took a few days longer but only due to our stormy weather here in Alaska. I am so happy to be able to get this battery, now my computer is up and running again!! Thank you!!

APC - The Best Choice
I have had 1 unit die on me in the last 20 years and APC customer support was outstanding, not only did they immediately get back to me, but they stood behind the unit without any questions.
Pros:
- APC - the best choice
- It does what it's supposed to and its high quality
- I've had APC UPS supporting everything in my home for over 20 years and they have saved PC's, TV's, gaming systems and the list goes on
Cons:
- None to speak of

APC UPS units are very reliable, work 100% of the time for us. I prefer to buy the units with the outlets on the back. The UPS's that have the plugs on top have had debris including spent staples fall into the outlets. My only gripe is that APC no longer uses right angle plugs on the power cord.

BK500BLK
We buy APC products for their reliability. However they have changed from using right angle plug to straight plugs. Now I have more trouble with bad connections at the outlet than power failures because it is too easy to accidentally knock the plug out.

500va is an ideal wattage for any home system. Provides safety and protection of your technology investment. Cleans power and provides up-time during power outages. Easy to work with, have used 100's of them.

APC Back-UPS CS 500
I live in an area where the electricity fluctuates on a pretty regular basis. I feel this most when I am in my desktop because the view of my monitor would suddenly flicker. I have lost quite a few documents while working, and so I was happy when my brother bought an APC Back-UPS CS 500.
