Until Dawn has a decent horror tale, but more so because you can shape which way it goes. The controls are a bit stiff and the camera angles feel a bit outdated, but it has superb performances, tough choices, brutal deaths and genuine scares that will stay with you.
I'm not going to spoil anything here but this game will subvert your expectations and keep you guessing the whole way through the storyline. Took me about 8–10 hours to complete which felt like the perfect length, not artificially extended or too short. Lends itself perfectly to a few replays to see just how varied the story can be. Works beautifully on remote play – one of the best experiences I've had with using the Vita for this feature. Lock the front door tight, tuck yourself into bed with all the lights out, put your earphones in and get ready for a night of no sleep and checking that the front door is really locked.
Overall, we really enjoyed playing Until Dawn. It'll take around 10-11 hours for a complete playthrough, which to some may be relatively short, but with the sheer amount of possible storylines, it deserves multiple playthroughs as you'll experience something different every time.
If you like games like The Walking Dead or Wolf Among Us you'll like Until Dawn. It's fun to play, doesn't give me motion sickness. Butterfly effect type game. There is cursing and it's a bit bloody so if you have smaller kids I wouldn't recommend they play it.
I always love story based games and it was really good game XD

A suspenseful, engaging, well-written horror story; Very good voice acting; Highly detailed world to explore

Until Dawn is an interactive adventure for the PlayStation 4($799.95 at Amazon) that's, essentially, a Choose Your Own Adventure version of a horror movie. It comes complete with a group of moronic teenagers in an abandoned mountain resort, a snow storm, a power outage, and an unknown masked fiend who is there to terrify them. But as silly as it sounds, Until Dawn ($19.30 at Amazon) is a strangely compelling tale that puts you in charge of the action, despite relying on hackneyed horror movie techniques. As Subtle as the Flapping of a Butterfly's WingsUntil Dawn's gameplay revolves around the decisions you make and an element called The Butterfly Effect. The idea is that a small change at one point in time can have a huge impact later on. This has been touched upon in other games such as Second Sight and Resident Evil 2, and perhaps most notably in Marvel: Avengers Alliance where Bishop goes back in time to kill Sin only to change the future into one where HYDRA team up with the ...

Until Dawn was originally conceived to be a PS3 title that took full advantage of the system's capabilities and that of the PlayStation Move. After what seemed like a last-minute decision, that version of the game was scraped and re-imagined for Sony's new console, the PS4.
Until Dawn is endearing. I know that's probably a strange adjective to use when describing a game that reveals in gore and excessive amounts of expletives. It's a game that isn't afraid to play with your emotions and take chances on crafting characters you sort of love to hate.
