Thief , the grandfather of the modern stealth genre and a classic series originally crafted by Looking Glass Studios in 1998 (yes, GR has been around for that long), just might be the most audacious video game for Eidos Montreal to reboot.

Thief is not a bad game by any means. It had the potential to be the most sought-after title on next-generation platforms, but the apparent restrictions that are implemented due to the level design, an abundance of loading screens, and sound issues detract from the overall immersive experience.

This year's Thief title is a reboot of the old franchise. Garrett remains as the master thief, albeit with a different origin and voice actor. enjoyed it. good story. did not like the controller layout though. would still play again though.

Thief doesn't deliver on all of its swagbag of stolen promises, but still outshines many new-gen titles.

To say the Thief community has patiently waited for Garrett the Master Thief to return would be an understatement. Fans have been chomping at the bit for some 10-years waiting for a new Thief game.

Awesome game, lots of fun

Good not great.If you're a fan of the previous titles you may be off put by the linear nature of the game. Die hard fans will forgive this however and for just over $30 shipped to my door it's a great addition to your library
