The Legend of Zelda is one of gaming's longest and most beloved franchises. It is one of Nintendo's flagship properties, and they seem to take more time and care with each entry than almost any other game they produce - and it shows.
Large, beautiful, fully explorable world; incredible physics sandbox; breathtaking visuals, despite the hardware limitations; fantastic ambient sound effects on a good surround sound system; tons and tons to do, with great attention to detail
Some may not like the breakable weapons and shields; story is somewhat optional and easy to forget about
However you characterize it -- rebirth, change of direction, or coming of age -- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the most mature game in the series' long history. It is a difficult game from a combat and survival perspective, and a challenging game in the amount of information that...
I'll just go out there and say it. Is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild worth the £300 it'd cost to get a Nintendo Switch to pay it on? My belief is adamant that it is. I'm at nearly 70 hours played so far, and every single one of them has been nothing but rapturous delight.
Breath of the Wild May Be the Best Legend Ever Told
Nintendo has been crushing the hopes and dreams of so many for so long that we have come to expect it. Their unprofessional PR and Marketing representatives failed us 100% in terms of Fitness Boxing. We are not part of the bought off corrupt gaming media so we are not going to get a reviewable copy.
A true masterpiece that is arguably the best The Legend of Zelda series has to offer.
There is so much more that can be said about Breath of the Wild. Ultimately, all you need to know is that it’s brilliant. Once you’ve set aside the changes from Zeldas of old, adjusted to the initial challenges and gotten your first foothold in this new Hyrule, you’ll be hooked for good. Eager to roam free and see as much of this spectacular world as possible. It’ll take you hours and hours to do so, but it’ll be worth it. The Switch needed a game of this quality to carry its launch. Boy, has Nintendo delivered.
Hyrule is magnificent; Gorgeous graphics; Engrossing story;
Controls are awkward at first; Tough to master;
Oh my god this game is so good. When you go back to other games you will still be thinking about Zelda BotW and be thinking why can't it be like THAT. I wasn't sure at first but the non-linear progression aspect is awesome. No grinding of content you don't want just to progress. Do what you want to do just for fun. And fun it is. Long time gamers who are fatigued at exploring and play for achieving will go back to the days of their first games and just love exploring. I haven't had that since picking up my first epic open game as a teenager. I can't recommend this game enough. I hope it's a game changer and future games use aspects of BotW because honestly I never knew I wanted a game like this but now it's all I want. And more of it. Buy this.
