The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Nintendo Switch
I bought this game for my son who is 8 years old, and he loves this game! He would not put it down until he beat the game. There's a lot for him to do and plenty to explore and go see and it kept him busy for quite some time.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (for Nintendo Switch)
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is massive, dense, and incredibly satisfying to explore. It suffers from a few frustrations, most notably the strange desaturation filter that pervades the graphics, but they're all easily forgivable when held against the sheer scope and variety of what you...- Massive, diverse open world
- Tons of clever puzzles
- Wide variety of things to see and do
- Strange desaturation filter makes the game appear hazy
- Combat is frustrating early on
- Weapon durability is a nuisance
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (for Nintendo Switch) Review
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the biggest, most impressive Zelda game yet, and a fantastic launch title for the Nintendo Switch. Hyrule is in danger again, and Link must save it. That's been the theme for nearly every Legend of Zelda game, and it's still the case in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The series' basic premise and Link/Zelda/Ganon dynamic are present, but nearly everything else is different. The classic Zelda dungeon-exploration structure is replaced by a huge open world that's filled with monsters, puzzles, and quests. Breath of the Wild's scope is one previously unseen in the Zelda series, and Nintendo executes the adventure-filled world with aplomb. Breath of the Wild ($59.99) is a must-buy Nintendo Switch ($299.99 at Best Buy)(Opens in a new window) game, and an Editors' Choice. It's also available on Wii U ($1,688.00 at Amazon)(Opens in a new window) . Another Link In Breath of the Wild ($59.88 at Amazon)(Opens in a new window) you once again play Link, the constantly reincarnating elf boy tasked with saving Hyrule and Princess Zelda from Ganon. This time you're a Link from the pa...- Massive, diverse open world

Nintendo The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild LEGENDOFZELDA review
However you characterize it -- rebirth, change of direction, or coming of age -- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the most mature game in the series' long history. It is a difficult game from a combat and survival perspective, and a challenging game in the amount of information that...
Nintendo Switch Review: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild DLC 1: The Master Trials
Has Nintendo mastered DLC It's been a few months since the Switch and Breath of the Wild came out, I personally rank BOTW as one of my favourite Zelda games, so the DLC was always going to be a no-brainer situation.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – The Champion's Ballad Review – Truly Superb Continuation
After months of anticipation following the release of the Master Trials DLC in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild , The Champion's Ballad expansion was finally premiered and simultaneously released at The Game Awards 2017.- New shrines are a blast
- The Master Cycle Zero is rad
- New items and gear are great
- Fighting the same bosses is a minor dissapointment
A very unique Zelda that works really well. However, boring voice acting and too repetitive environments in both "Temple" and Shrines. Can take a while to learn the controls. Music is not good at all. It is repetitive and sounds uninspired, in comparison to all other Zelda games.
History tells us of a time that Nintendo ruled the entire gaming world as far as the eye could see. You'd have to go back many moons, and some of you weren't even born, but many of us were fortunate enough to live in these times. We can confirm that these tales are true.
- The shrines and dungeons | Good amiibo support for a change | Beautiful soundtrack | Creating your own food - who thought it could be fun | The Sheikah Slate
- Twice experienced really bad frame rate issues | If you don't like open-world games this is not for you
"Not since Ocarina of Time, the last Zelda game to truly shake up the formula and influence the industry, has the series been so dramatically transformed." © 2017 Nintendo. All rights reserved.
- Huge and interactive open world
- incredibly fun
- impressive attention to detail
- Frame rate issues
- motion controls are poorly implemented
